Successful strategy development largely depends on the use of social forecasting mechanisms. Such mechanisms combine the analysis of expected impact of technological solutions on social life with the assessment of development prospects for social innovation and opportunities to implement humanitarian and social technologies.
Building a social innovation ecosystem is becoming increasingly important. The key stakeholders include universities, charitable foundations, social innovation centers, community foundations.
The following mechanisms to finance social innovation are becoming important: venture philanthropy, social impact investment, participatory budgeting, public-NGO partnership.
