The reduction of the revenue base, the structural transformation of the national economy, which transmits the risks of aggravation of socio-economic problems to the level of cities, make it necessary to look for new approaches to a quick response to modern challenges.
In the conditions of relatively high subsidization of cities and low financial independence in the implementation of their own budgetary policy, it is important to understand where to look for growth points for the urban economy in modern conditions.
Issues for discussion:
- what are the new mechanisms for increasing the revenue base of the largest cities;
- whether inter-municipal interaction contributes to the growth of the financial stability of cities in modern conditions.
During the discussion, it is expected to obtain additional methodological justification for the ongoing actions from the federal executive authorities and experts, as well as to organize the exchange of best regional and municipal practices.
