Tourism sovereignty: cooperation between the state and business

Summary

Tourism is critical to achieving economic recovery in the post-COVID-19 era and the sanctions. However, many of the problems of the tourism industry have not yet been resolved on the territory of the Russian Federation, especially when it comes to the necessary paradigm shift towards a new tourism development model based on smart and sustainable growth and consumption.
The purpose of the panel discussion is to discuss the tools and successful experience in implementing a sustainable tourism model, guided by the principles of which, one can reduce the negative impact on the environment, maximize economic performance, improve the experience of tourists and visitors, and improve the quality and standard of living of the population.
