Summary
Complex geostrategic challenges, significant external pressure and sanctions require Russia to develop a new system of strategic development management. By the 2024 elections, it is advisable to develop a new Development Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 and for the future, until 2050. It necessary to decide:
Is Russia a gas station country, as it is called in the West?
Is Russia a warehouse country, as they call it in the East?
Is Russia a great and strong industrial and technological country that relies on human capital, comfortable living and working conditions?
"United Russia", in accordance with the People’s Program, joined in the elaboration of a long-term agenda for development. As part of the “CHOOSE YOURS” project, an “Assessment of the sustainability of the activities of the heads of regions of the Russian Federation” has been formed, and a “New “living” state system of strategic management of the development of Russia: industrial and technological leadership of Russia with a focus on the intellectual and labor potential of Russians” is being developed.
