Summary
The climate agenda remains relevant both in Russia and in its regions. At the regional level, it focuses on adaptation to climate change, in support of which regional adaptation plans are being formed. At the same time, there is a need to adapt to the global energy transition aimed at reducing the anthropogenic impact on the climate. Climate projects can make an important contribution to this process.
– What role can climate projects play in adapting regions to climate change?
– What additional positive effects can climate projects have for regional development?
– How to stimulate the implementation of climate projects in the region? The session will become a platform for the exchange of experience and best practices of the regions, an interactive platform for obtaining information on the latest changes in legislation, the preparation of regional adaptation plans, the implementation of climate projects, the restoration of forest landscapes, etc.
