The youth platform of the XXI All-Russian Forum “Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia: Landing Strategies, Enhancing Cooperation” was held on November 1 in the format of a brunch for young scientists “Challenge Accepted”, where 70 participants were representatives of the scientific community, authorities, business, tourism industry and hospitality, universities, the non-profit sector, academic institutions, youth movements, as well as representatives of organizations and companies engaged in the field of knowledge-intensive business discussed issues of ensuring the tourist, economic and technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation.

From the Government of St. Petersburg, welcoming speeches were made to the young scientists by: Alexey Zyryanov, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of St. Petersburg, and Anatoly Kotov, Special Representative of the Governor of St. Petersburg for Economic Development.

The brunch moderators, Kirill Zhanaidarov, Head of the Transport Department of the Skolkovo Foundation, and Olga Yakimenko, Project Manager for Sustainable Development and Internet Technologies at ICSER Leontief Center, set a lively format for the discussion and opened the work of the Forum’s youth platform with a ceremonial awarding of the accelerator winning teams sustainable development “Game of Goals”, which was launched exactly a year ago at the XX Strategic Forum together with the St. Petersburg State Institution “External Transport Agency”. During the year, the teams designed an electric unmanned urban water transport for residents and guests of St. Petersburg, and experts from Gazprombank JSC, Yandex.Taxi LLC, Megafon, EMCT LLC, RUSAL Management highly appreciated the development potential of the presented projects.
