Is a strategy for systematically improving people’s quality of life possible in modern Russia? The discussion of this, perhaps the most socially significant topic, will be devoted to the round table of the Strategic Forum “Formation of intersectoral interaction for the purposes of developing territories, settlements and increasing their human potential.” The focus of the discussion will be the problem of effective intersectoral interaction (EII) - the most important condition for the rapid development of regional infrastructure. Outside of EII, it is impossible to provide the basic factors for improving the quality of life of people: the growth of business and investment activity, as well as the creation of new jobs. The topic of electronic energy, social responsibility of business, as well as social partnership between the state, business and society is especially relevant at the moment. EII assumes close integration of key links: local communities – business – municipality – state – expert and scientific community.
Russian regions have positive experience in addressing issues of social development and ensuring social security. However, to scale such experience, the scientific development of the modern concept of EII and its legal support is required. In addition to science and the state, public institutions and business should take part in the development of this concept. The preparatory work aimed at solving this problem will be a comprehensive discussion scheduled at the round table.
Organizers of the event: State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Branch of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences on Federal Structure, Local Government and Local Communities, Union of Russian Cities, Center for Strategic Research Foundation. The moderator of the round table and the author of the orientation report is Alexey Didenko, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government.
