One of the areas of strategic planning in the regions and cities of Russia is the transport sector. Currently, urban public transport reforms are actively carried out - they are designed to balance the interests of all parties: passengers, transport companies and authorities.

Providing residents with comfortable public transport requires a set of measures affecting road transport infrastructure, vehicles, organization of the transportation process, including balancing routes and tariffs, linking urban planning and transport tasks.

The session of the Strategic Forum “Public transport is changing the face of the city” will be devoted to discussing these and many other related issues. The whole range of problems associated with public transport reforms in cities will be discussed: the pros and cons of the occurred changes. An analysis of government support measures will be carried out: practical experience of application, examples of successful support measures, the results of the implementation of measures by the regions and the problems faced by participants. The discussion will touch upon the issue of approaches to prioritize.
