One of the developers of the first Strategic Plan in Russia (for St. Petersburg), permanent scientific director of the Strategic Forum, director of the Resource Center for Strategic Planning at the Leontief Center, chief researcher at the IPPE RAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences Boris Zhikharevich has shared his view on the history of Russian strategizing, as well as on the difficulties and challenges that the initiative of progressive St. Petersburg economists, who developed that plan 1996-1997, faced over time.
