[2023-10-10] / International agenda of the Forum

The international agenda of the Strategic Forum covers the adjustments that have emerged in recent years in the priority vectors of the country’s foreign economic development. A whole block of thematically interrelated events of the Strategists Forum is devoted to the issue of reconfiguring the foreign policy and foreign economic strategies of the state and all its regions and cities in connection with massive sanctions from unfriendly states.

The key event of the international program of the Forum will be the strategic dialogue session “Tools for strengthening cross-border cooperation between the regions of Russia and Belarus”. Participants in the dialogue will discuss the conditions for launching a new pilot program - a regional cooperation program that provides financing for project-oriented interregional partnerships to solve common problems and achieve common goals of innovative and technological development, healthy ecology and social well-being of neighboring countries.

A number of international round tables of the Forum are dedicated to the discussion of new priority areas of Russian foreign economic cooperation, aimed at the global South and East. The round table “International Cooperation for Regional Development: African Focus” will continue to discuss the range of problems of mutually beneficial and equal interregional interaction.
