Concept of the development of light industry and the fashion industry based on partnership strategies

Summary

The world’s leading brands have left Russia, including brands of clothing, footwear, and accessories. Their departure, on the one hand, destroyed the fashion product creation chains - a significant part of the industry players were left without partners - without advertising, without goods, without tenants. On the other hand, a niche of at least 9.8% of the market has become vacant. For the development of the economy, the preservation of the professional ecosystem and jobs, for the rapid adaptation and development of light industry, small and medium-sized businesses in the fashion industry, reengineering of the industry is necessary.
It is impossible to develop the light industry and the fashion industry while remaining within the boundaries of one industry. It is necessary to set up intersectoral interaction with agriculture, animal husbandry, science (processing technologies, new materials, etc.), mechanical engineering and education.
At the strategy session, the New Fashion Industry Association will present the concept of the industry development, companies’ request for innovation and coordinated support measures from development institutions.
